Hello there. My name’s Darran. I’m very pleased to meet you.

I think I’ll start my “LJ” as it is so called, with a big one, a movie I am afraid to admit it is not my first movie review, but hopefully it will not be my last!

You look smashing today, by the way.

So, about, ooh, a week ago, I went to the cinema, I find it normally helps when you want to go see a movie, though apparently according to the film board, you can download an ilegal copy! – how convenient, and free! Marvelous, but I can’t really be bothered.

So which movie was it? My word, how can you not know!

I like those shoes.

No, that wasn’t the name of the movie, I was just saying, the film was: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. I thought it was a good film, though I can’t quite remember, as it went so fast that I think I lost the plot. Now I think Johnny Depp is a fantastic actor, and should be made king of England, but to be honest he wasn’t as good as he was in the first film, maybe he was and I just can’t remember.

I think this is one film I will have to see 12 times to process, very enjoyable.
