Video: Bill O’Reilly’s Meltdown!

Warning, Swearing in the vid below, but I found it funny.

Just in case you didn’t get my O’Reilly reference the other day, this is the nutjob going, well nuts on his old TV show:

F*** it, we’ll do it live!

Update: Replaced the video with a working version, though it may go down again.

Belgian girl’s offer to take Net Neutrality fans Virginity (unsurprisingly) a response to Virgin’s Stupidity

You may have read around the web about the Belgian woman, Tania Dervaux, offering to take the virginity of any Net Neutrality supporting guy. What you may not have realised from the (largely American) coverage is that it was a direct response to a story I posted earlier this month, about the Virgin Media CEO calling Net Neutrality “Bollocks”.

You can check out their anti-Virgin Media campaign page, naturally named “Stop Virgin” here, the site everyone else is noticing though is the ahem registration page.

Further research on Miss Dervaux revealed she seems to have done a lot of press stunts before, she runs a fake suicide blog, and allegedly did indeed give out all those blow jobs to fellow Belgians who supported her political party in last year’s elections (though Wikipedia says it was entirely virtual).

Is this girl for real? No of course not, but she’s achieved her cause.

More viral video risks: Basketball Star Jumps over Car

This viral video posted by the American Basketball star Kobe Bryant on his website, depicts the 3 time NBA champion jumping over a speeding Aston Martin with his new Nike Trainers.

Investigators on the net have discovered that the video is indeed a commercial for Nike and Bryant, when asked by KCAL-TV how the stunt was done said “Hollywood, baby.” So the ad was fake but this has always been the case with controversial viral adverts, such as with Ford’s SportKa.

The concern as always is will people mimick his insanity? Some seem to fear for his career. One thing is certain though, Ad companies seem keen to use controversy as a tool to get a commercial out.

Will it ever backfire?

You don’t mess with the Zohan…

You know, I always thought Adam Sandler was capable of playing someone other than Adam Sandler… looks like I might be right. Don’t know if I’ll go see it though.

Probably the hardest video game in the world.

Spartans… really?

I love 300 as much as the next guy, and this trailer looks amazing, but since ‘Epic Movie’ I have lost all faith in spoof movies (and their misleading trailers). What follows is the trailer for “Meet the Spartans”, it looks great, apart from the stupid Britney reference. I’ll probably go and see it, but if it turns out crap, I may never go and see a spoof ever again.

This is SPARTA!
